I am a firm believer in transparency. Government does not need to spend every dime but every dime that is spent should be accounted for. Congress should never be allowed to vote on a bill unless they know exactly how much money it is going to cost- not just over 10 years- but over the lifetime of the bill.
1. Full cost transparency and a summary at the front of the legislation of any pork barrel spending, where it is directed, and what member of Congress requested it
2. Limit legislation to a single subject
3. End the takeover of government by presidentially appointed “Czars”
